Project Overview
The project is located in Heilongjiang Province, which has a continental monsoon climate with an average winter temperature of -20°C. The heating period lasts from mid-October to mid-April, requiring heating for half the year. The project, the Ross Empire Goods Distribution Center, primarily deals with goods imported from Russia; the plaza has a construction area of 40,000 square meters. Initially, the plaza used the city's large network for central heating, and heating costs became the highest operating cost of the plaza. At the same time, the city heating system had the following issues:
(1) Unstable water supply temperature, causing significant fluctuations in indoor temperature;
(2) Users cannot adjust the temperature according to their preferences;
(3) The city’s long piping network resulted in high heat loss and high costs;
(4) Inadequate water supply pressure and quantity for users at remote locations.

Heat Pump

Design
The project uses a high-efficiency water source heat pump unit, designed with two screw compressors and a double circuit system to ensure safe heating. The unit can adjust the output water temperature as needed, ranging from 40°C to 55°C. To optimize the water source and minimize water waste, the unit uses flooded evaporator equipment with an output water temperature designed at 3.5℃, maximizing the use of groundwater and improving the energy efficiency ratio of the unit.

Benefit Analysis
The customer originally used the city’s central heating system, and the commercial heating cost was 6.72 USD per square meter, with an annual heating cost of approximately 1.7 million USD, excluding initial setup fees.
