With the rapid economic growth in our country, energy demand seems to be increasingly strained, especially energy consumption. The "China's 5-Year Plan" has specified the goal of "Energy conservation and emission reduction" and states that energy consumption per unit of GDP in China will decrease by about 20%.
On the other hand, the traditional way of using energy releases large amounts of dust, SO2, and CO, which causes serious air pollution and generates hot water by burning coal. This has been one of the main reasons for foggy weather in cities across China.
To address the above problem, a series of policies and subsidies have been introduced to support the development of Heat Pump Systems. H’Stars has independently developed its 85°C Hot Water Heater with Single Double Stage Screw Compressors to meet the national guidelines by using "green," "safe," and "energy-saving" heat pump systems. **Compressor Technology of Single Double Stage Screw Compressors**:
Using the Shanghai HANBELL single-stage screw compressor, one compressor can perform the functions of two compressors. Compared to two traditional screw compressors, it takes up less floor space, has a simpler system, fewer faults, and is easier to maintain.
**Four-Step Power Capacity**
The loading capacity of the low-pressure stage of the single double-stage screw compressor is controlled by a 4-step controller at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
**Operating Range**
This unit belongs to water-source heat pump units, producing 65-85°C hot water by using 5-20°C water temperature input.
**Energy Saving — Heat Recovery**
The units can recycle the heat load from the cooling oil, generating 85°C hot water by using 12°C inlet water, and the COP can reach above 2.6.

**Environmentally Friendly and Safe**
Using R134A as the refrigerant, the units are non-polluting and do not emit harmful gases, reducing CO2 emissions by over 40%, making them environmentally friendly and safe.
Energy Saving Application Case
A food factory needs to heat 20°C water to 85°C for 1000L while processing food. There are three heating methods available: H’Stars 85°C Hot Water Heater, traditional gas heating, and electric heating. The table below (Table 1) compares the economic benefits of the three heating applications.
Assumptions:
This food factory requires 85°C hot water for 300 days a year, with 10 tons of 85°C hot water produced per day.
a) Annual operation cost for gas-fired boiler: 64.38 RMB x 10 tons x 300 days = 193,100 RMB
b) Annual operation cost for electric boiler: 79.56 RMB x 10 tons x 300 days = 238,700 RMB
c) Annual operation cost for H’Stars 85°C Hot Water Heater: 18 RMB x 10 tons x 300 days = 54,000 RMB
By using the H’Stars 85°C Hot Water Heating Unit, the annual operational cost is only RMB 54,000, which saves RMB 139,100 compared to the gas-fired boiler and RMB 184,700 compared to the electric boiler. This is highly energy-efficient and cost-effective.
